For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: Wife and I stopped for one night on our way home from the upper peninsula of Michigan. Very nice people working there. We thought the sites were nice. Lots of older tree growth. Plenty of shade. Family oriented. Yes, RxR tracks are right behind us, haven’t heard a train…yet.

For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: About as nice a KOA as you will find. Will deliver firewood or propane to your site. Huge game room. With a couple of dozen games. Heated swimming pool. Laundry. Train comes through during week 2 times per day in evening. But that is it. Folks running super nice. Late afternoon you get a text reminding you when they are closing that day. Is go back in heart beat.

For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: Not one of the better KOAs that we have stayed in. It is near some stagnant water which increase the fly and mosquito population. In addition, there are train tracks literally right next to the sites (there's not even a fence to separate you)and the train does roll through blowing it's horn. Sites are very tight together.

For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: So there is a train right behind our site. It came through around 10:30 PM. AWESOME!!! It's a train and its something unique and didn't bother us at all. The people here are friendly and very accommodating. Plenty for the kids to do. The sites are nice and level and the camp store has anything you need. Definitely stay here again.

For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: People seem nice, but the train was a deal breaker, we would have left if we could have gotten our money back. I would not recommend staying here if you want to sleep at night.

For KOA Holiday Oscoda Tawas: Best customer service I've ever seen. Very pleasant campground about 25% seasonals. The only problem was the train track immediately adjacent to the campground which woke us up 2-3 times on Fri nite. No activity Saturday nite. Grandkids came over and enjoyed the pool and jump bag.
