For Sterling State Park: Great park! We stayed in 118 with full hook ups. You can still see the lake from there. A little close to the neighbors but being such a big park, it wasn’t too noisy. Very well maintained and a lot to do in the park itself. Staff was very nice! The one less star is 75 north was horrendous, the road into the camp is pretty bumpy, the coal burning plant and nuclear plant not to far off, and you do need to pay a park fee on top of your campground fee. I may of missed that note when booking. But we will return if ever in the area.

For Sterling State Park: Stayed 2 nights in site 122. Full hookup and pull through. We had a intense rainstorm and had lots of water all around the RV. We wore our boots to hookup to leave. But other than that the site was great
As others have said , trees are small but that’s because they are new. We could see the lake from our site. It was very windy but we still walked to see things. The host is very nice and they love their jobs. That’s important ! We went to 2 National Parks while here.
Would stay again.

For Sterling State Park: Nice little state park except the sites that are not full hook ups ( w/e/s) are only electric. No water on sites - very weird
Small and few trees so little shade. But nice for a weekend away Just be sure and fill your water tanks

For Sterling State Park: Beautiful, well-kept Park. We enjoyed the hiking trails and swimming in Lake Erie- so warm and shallow out quite a ways. I wish there would be bigger trees for shade but guess they want the view of the lake. My only disappointment was picking a site in the first row by the lake only to find they are putting a few trailer/cabins lakeside which was a minor view obstruction. Best park of our weeklong trip to MI and OH from Milw, WI.

For Sterling State Park: Yes, there a no trees and minimal space between sites. Yes, the trails are all paved. Still, this gets the full five stars because the beach is just incredible. Get site 25 if you can.

For Sterling State Park: We stayed in this lovely state park as we traveled through. It was a memorable stop. In site #140 there is an unobstructed view of Lake Erie that is wonderful. A very large campground, many of the back spots probably aren’t as great, but our stay ranked as one of our favorites after many years of camping across the US.

For Sterling State Park: We would recommend this campground. Much nicer than expected given the view of the giant billowing factory stacks coming into the park.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The park was very clean and easy to navigate.
Sites were decent size. Younger trees on some sites. Few mature trees except around the perimeter. One side of the campground sites right above the lake. Gorgeous.
Most back in sites are at a nice angle to the road making backing (in the dark for us) very easy. Great views of Lake Erie. We came at the end of August and the water was so warm.
Big playground between the beach and the campsites.
We would stay again if ever in the area.
