For Markin Glen County Park: This is a great little campground with full hookup sites. The campground is well laid out with grassy areas between each site. We bought two beehive and we’re not charged an additional fee (I note some reviews from a couple of years ago mentioned this, but it is no longer applicable). For $35 per night with lots of paved trails and open spaces and only 10 min from downtown Kalamazoo, this place is a hidden gem!

For Markin Glen County Park: A nice campground with full hookups. Most sites are Ok, we have a 43’ class A & had trouble getting into 24 & opening slides. We had to park on an angle because of the trees. Many trees need to be trimmed , they will not trim any trees until the winter. Hopefully they hold to their word. Good bike trails in area. The campground was empty, but they will not let you enter until 3pm !

For Markin Glen County Park: Nice campground overall. Price is low. Be aware, however, that there is an additional fee if you bring a second vehicle. Sites are smaller, but laid out very well. You’re not sitting around your fire pit right next to your neighbors water and waste connection. Didn’t get an opportunity to use them, but looks like there are really nice trails, a beach, and tennis courts. Biggest thing that I wish they had is an online reservation system.

For Markin Glen County Park: Still the same as the other reviews. Nice and clean, full hookups 30/50/15 amp. Still $28. We just over nighted. July 31, 2018

For Markin Glen County Park: Great park, fairly small rv section. Nice, clean, paved, and spacious spots. $28 a night. We enjoy walking around the lake, saw two river otters this morning.

For Markin Glen County Park: I love this small little campground. It is clean and well kept with large sights that include a concrete pad. Nice large firepits with friendly staff that deliver wood (small bundles) directly to you. Close to the bike trail with easy access. Campers are varied and friendly. One of my favorite spots close to home.
