For Lake St George State Park: Very laid back RV park with lots of options for sites from right on the lake to nestled back in the woods. We had a great stay despite the fact that it rained the entire time. Close to Belfast main and plenty to do if you want to leave the campground we had an issue with an abandoned camp site next to us with the door open and trash around the truck and camper. The park staff said they notified the police strange situation so we moved sites. If you want simple and laid back I’d recommend this place.

Moss
For Lake St George State Park: A few campsites have privacy but most do not. The campground is right by Route 3 so there is traffic noise. Campsites are mostly on grass and some are muddy. The lake is pretty but the campground seems slapdash. Bring insecticide.

For Lake St George State Park: Nice small park. Some sites right on the lake. Bathrooms are clean and pretty new.
