For Bar Harbor Campground: This was my favorite campground of this summer‘s trip. After two nights in a lower camp spot we were able to move up to the ocean view. There were wild blueberries all around us. There’s a nice pool, very clean. There are only a couple of bath houses and the rest of the bathroom facilities are Porta potty‘s. The views are amazing and the staff is very friendly. They actually cleaned out our fire place every day! The only correction I would make is they advertise 2 miles from bar Harbor Inn and they are actually 4 1/2 miles from the village of Bar Harbor, so don’t think you can walk there quickly! Wi-Fi is a little iffy in many locations. The spaces are generous with lots of trees. I was a little worried about first come first serve, but it did not seem to be a problem except on Friday and Saturday nights.

For Bar Harbor Campground: Very nice campground. It is in fact the closest one to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There is only one row of actual ocean view with about 7 sites. Everything Near the ocean view that is full hookup is 30 amp. The 50 amp locations are near the entrance and have no view. Most of the full hookup sites have little or no shade. Campsites are moderately sized with fire pits, ok for big rigs, but a little tight for rigs above 36ft. Cost was about $40 full hookups. Very friendly and helpful staff. There are no reservations which is a little hard on the cross country travelers. I had to take a water/electric site the first night then move second day to full hookups.

For Bar Harbor Campground: Had a great experience here. First site was decent, a little slanted but after first night got lucky and grabbed a site up front along the ocean view. CG is first come first served which is a little eccentric but worked out in our favor. Weak WiFi but had good cell service. Great spot to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. Very easy to navigate and nice facilities. (Pool/showers/playground/store). Would definitely stay again.

For Bar Harbor Campground: Wonderful campground. We stayed up top which had a nice view. Bathrooms super clean. You do have to pay 25 cents for 5 minutes (I needed 2 quarters but I like a long shower) and water was good and hot. Close to Acadia and bus will pick you up at campground. We were surprised how busy it was in September since the kids are back in school but everything was busy. Sunrise on Cadillac mountain was amazing. Go early to get a parking spot

For Bar Harbor Campground: This is one of the nicest camp sites we have visited with clean well maintained sites and facilities. Also great views from the higher part of the property. Golf carts go by in the morning to clean up all the sites that just vacated! Very convenient for both access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. In fact, the bus for the park stops right at the office of the campsite, so you don’t even need to drive to visit the Park. Highly recommended.

For Bar Harbor Campground: Kind of unusual not to make a reservation but we were lucky. They take no reservations so it is first come first serve. Works well if you want to extend your stay too. Arrived and the staff were very friendly and told us to drive through to locate a site that would accommodate us. We located a 50 AMP FHU and were able to stay. Site was gravel and quite off level, but it worked and even were able to get our Satellite. WIFI is very good, to the point of about the best we have gotten at a campground. Very cheap considering the prices of other places in the area. $46.00 for 50 Amp FHU. Would stay again.

For Bar Harbor Campground: Nice place with all kinds of spots, shady, sunny, full hook ups, or no hook ups. Every spot YOU get to choose everyone for the most part has their own space to enjoy. Great for camping or stoping by.
