For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: This is a very nice park in the Washington DC area. Many sites were available in mid-July, even on the weekend. I have a motorhome, and it was a $30 Uber ride to the the mall- but the rates were are very reasonable and so it was still a bargain, especially in this area. If you have a vehicle and can drive to the city, it's even better! Highly recommended ? Carolyn in the office is very nice.

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: We stayed here for 2 weeks in June/July 2017. There was a lot we liked about this campground: peaceful, quiet, friendly staff, inexpensive compared to others around, beautiful, small, low traffic, very few campers there even on the weekends, good cell service, large campsite, fairly well manicured and taken care of.

There were a couple of things we didn't like:

1) polarity on the pole said it was reversed, however it didn't seem to be a problem. We checked several poles and they all showed reverse polarity on both of our surge protectors.

2) The dump station was hard to find since there were no signs and it was just a big open hole in the ground. We had to just drop our hose down into it instead of a connection - it was rather stinky to say the least.

3) although fairly well maintained as far as garbage collection, leaf blowing, etc. it still needed some TLC to picnic tables, water connections and electric poles.

We would stay there again. It was nice enough for the price and close enough to DC to see the sites. We do not, however, recommend the Big Bus tour in DC. The tour guides were awful (for the most part) and it was never on time - wasted a lot of our 2 days in DC.

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: This is a well hidden gem!
It's probably the site with the shortest distance to the parking lots near the museums in DC. And yet, we are only two RV's here now well into May.
It is situated in lovely light green oak forest and is well maintained by the park authorities. 23 dollars with water&electric is nothing compared to the private parks that are at least as far from Washington as this. 50 $ saved a day is money in my book, when here for a week... lots of free firewood too...
Highly recommended

Chester

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: Hidden treasure near Washington DC. 25 sites, paved, flat and easy to get in. Our site #25 was 50' long. Park is only 6 miles from DC metro station. Park is quiet and comfortable. At $23/nite it is a bargain in the area. We stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting the capital.
