For Steep Rock Beach Park: Worth the drive out. The small town of steep rock is an unexpected gem after driving miles of flat, straight road. We stayed on the “sunset†strip either water and electric hookups, the sites were nice, no complaints. A short walk to the beach, what a beauty! And the sunsets were breath taking.
Staff were friendly and facilities were clean and accessible.
If you make the trek drive into the town and checkout the old quarry and the cliffs!

For Steep Rock Beach Park: Mostly permanent seasonal sites with many cabanas and decks built around campers. Good shower and bathroom facilities. The beach is lovely.
Many seasonal campers driving around in golf carts.
Firewood is $8 for a small bundle.
Friendly staff and a well stocked store.
Spotty cell coverage but a couple of boosters on site.
