For Wells State Park: This is a great little park. Site 8 definitely the El Primo site. We’ve had no no problems on that site with our 26’ class C. Brand new bathhouse in 2018. Fishing, swimming, hiking - lots of things to do here.

For Wells State Park: We camped in site 10, with a 24 foot trailer. The site had a partial lake view. Seems like most sites have pretty good privacy. New bathrooms with showers. A nice lake, which I heard was very nice for swimming. Site 8 is spectacular, right on the water, but don’t know how anyone would get into it unless sleeping in a van or tent. Gravelly voiced older “ranger†was a micro manager, seemed to like to hear himself talk. Other than that, nice campground, pretty quiet, no road noise and no trains.

For Wells State Park: This is a small campground relative to the size of the state park. The setting is beautiful, with woods and many trails for biking and hiking. Some sites are on a large lake. Most are level and there is a nice buffer of woods between many of the sites. Site accessibility favors tents and small campers.
