For Historic Valley Park: I see many long term rvers holding down sites. Even the “tent†sites have no privacy, and are close together. The lake is more like a large pond; I don’t see the appeal of this area.

For Historic Valley Park: 3 nights midweek in June 2019. Clean well maintained bathrooms. Laundry in 2nd bathhouse did not use. Firewood at office available. Convenient location to visit attractions. Be sure to follow campgrounds directions. Your GPS will send you up a bad hill. Chinese delivers to campground gate. Nice playground for kids. Shared electric & water post at some sites be sure to ask which side it is on. We could not hook up water as was to far. Electric we managed with an extra cord.

For Historic Valley Park: We stayed for four nights over Memorial Day 2018 weekend. They had many fun family activities to celebrate the holiday. The managers, Bruce and Wendy are super friendly and eager to assist. Clean restrooms and friendly seasonal campers. We would stay there again!

For Historic Valley Park: Sites are a decent size. Staff was friendly and helpful. While we were there they served a Father's Day breakfast on Sunday. They specially prepared vegan potatoes for us. We stayed in a conventional travel trailer. We would stay here again.

For Historic Valley Park: What a nice municipal campground. Clean modern restrooms with great showers. Spaces are nicely separated.
Camp managers were helpful and friendly. Cost for a site with water and electric seemed a little high ($29 October 13, 2012) given prices of other area campgrounds. Overall, a pretty area, friendly staff, well maintained, and we enjoyed our visit.
