For Sunsetview Farm Camping Area: Off the beaten path for sure – about 13 miles from I-90. There is a bridge under construction at the moment so you may have to take a longer route to get here depending on which direction you are coming from. They have specific instructions on their website. Coming from the east, the roads through Sturbridge are very rutted. Brimfield is slightly better. There are overhanging branches on Town Farm road, and we snagged a couple. The check-in was quick and easy; however, they do not supply a map or give you any information about the campground. The interior roads are mostly dirt with some gravel. They are narrow and challenging for big rigs. The RV sites are situated in all directions so it looks a bit disheveled. The transient sites have dirt/grass/mud and some have a smattering of gravel. The seasonal/permanent sites (which occupy most of the spaces) have more gravel. To get into our site, we had to drive up an incline to a flatter area which barely had enough room to get all our tires on it. We were towing a vehicle which remained on the incline. Our rig was leaning towards the driver’s side but the levelers were able to do their job. There was a large square dirt area outside our door where apparently someone had placed a rug for a long time. Our bedroom window looked right out onto the porch of the park model that was backed up to ours. Getting out of our site was interesting as we had to make a tight turn. Luckily, no one was in the sites(plural!) across from us because we imposed heavily on them. Satellite would work in some sites. I don’t know if they have cable or not. Verizon was 5g 2 bars or 4g 3 bars; however, our hot spots acted wonky. Trains can be heard off in the distance but they aren’t intrusive. It is very quiet at night so there’s that. FYI - They charge $6 extra a night for 50 amp and $3.50 transaction fee. Pretty high priced for what you get. Just did not tickle our fancy so we won’t be back.

For Sunsetview Farm Camping Area: Arrived in a huge rain storm that continued for 3/4 of the night. Felt very alone but safe. Lots of well maintained campers sprinkled thru out the campground - spots delineated by short rock walls, shrubs, trees. . Overnight spot was level, had gravel base, rail fences & close to bathrooms. They were clean but somewhat dated. Showers were small in size with no room for a bench or shelf. Happy to see in the morning that the water had drained away - made leaving easier!

Gary

For Sunsetview Farm Camping Area: We only stayed here one night, would have stayed longer if time permitted. Very quiet campground, restrooms well maintained. Seemed to be a lot of full timers who come on the weekends, we stopped by mid-week. Staff was great and showed us to the sites, a little tight but manageable for our trailer. Did not utilize any of the amenities or pool. No cable provided, limited antenna coverage. Would stay again.

For Sunsetview Farm Camping Area: if you have a big rig, don't go. difficult approach on steep roads. in the campground there are very tight turns and not much space on the road between sides. low hanging trees and uneven dirt roads. no satellite reception. and a chucklehead who drives the mower RIGHT NEXT to your vehicles throwing grass and rocks. unacceptable!
