For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: Lot of people living here, some in rundown RV's, but they are located away from the daily rental sites. Apparently they operate like a mobile home park because there is a large sign on the door that says there will be a $50 charge if rent is not paid by the 1st of the month. Lots of mud and ruts in the road. Most sites are in grassy area. A few pull through concrete sites near the office. They have been remodeling the women's shower/restroom with tile and it will really be nice when it's finished. The park is located next to I-12 but there is a relatively short drive to get there. No cable. OVERNIGHT FEE IS WAY OVERPRICED AT $45 PER NIGHT! They surely just meet the bare minimum requirements to be considered a Good Sam park.

For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: This campground should be closed until they clean it up and have a better understanding of how to register campers. We were given campsite #32 and arrived after dark. When we pulled up to the site we noticed it must have been used as a trash dump of some kind. Trash of all sorts were spewed everywhere including fast food trash, hundreds of cigarette butts and other paraphernalia. We drove around and there were no other empty sites. As I was outside hooking up I felt something nudging my leg and turned to find a large black dog off leash. I froze. I complained to Karen who works at the campground office and got every excuse in the book of why the site was in the condition it was in and why dogs roam freely around the campground. At $40 per night these conditions are unacceptable.

For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: WiFi worked, level pads, clean showers. No cable as advertised. Very close to interstate (50 yards) so lots of traffic noise all night long. Noisy and expensive ($40) for an overnight stay.

For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: I'd give a higher rating if the price was lower. Price would be moderately ok if they had cable. Bathrooms should have soap at sink too.

For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: Nice clean camp grounds from what we have been told the owner has taken over and is managing it themselves! In the short time we have been here there has been a lot of great changes! We love the pool and pond!

For Punkin Lakeside RV Park: Nice concrete pads for pull through sites, friendly office people when there but come when you call them on phone,no cable as advertised only get 5-6 channels wit ant if not raining internet is there but someone has a repeater causing it to be near impossible to connect (wife's phone finally connected but mine has not) looks like nice pool interstate traffic is loud staying a wk an price wouldn't be bad if could use internet an had cable. All stays app shows there is Internet an cable reason we stayed here had to call an ask office for password for Internet that I could not connect to but never said a word bout no cable very disappointed don't like false advertisement
