For St Bernard State Park: Great campground, affordable for being so close to the city. Has laundry and bathrooms with running water. They seem to have a wasp problem in the ladies bathroom and mosquito problem through the park, but other that is really nice and quiet. It's gated at night, so somewhat safe place to stay.

For St Bernard State Park: Park is nice w/good amenities, trash is emptied regularly. Bathrooms/showers need attention. Pretty dirty and always dying wasps on floor. Perhaps it would be better to keep them out, as opposed to constantly spraying. Wifi is pretty much useless. Most everything times out before loading. Had to get on at 2am with minimal success and, VPN is refused. Make sense on an unsecured wifi?

For St Bernard State Park: Very secluded and apparently safe, but not designed for larger rigs. The roads are paved, but very narrow. The sites are reasonably far apart, reasonably level, and the pads are paved. However, the pads are only about 9' wide, and 45' long., and difficult to back into. The dump station is located on the wrong side of the road as you leave. You will either have to pass your sewer line under your rig, or leave the park, turn around and dump coming back into the park. It's gated, but the lock is a worn out combination padlock, and there is no light to see the combination. It is very marshy, with large and bloodthirsty mosquitoes. The bath house was probably damaged by Katrina, and could use some repairs. However, we've stayed in far worse.

For St Bernard State Park: Beautiful and very quiet. I'm not sure why people don't use it more. Not a lot of extras but great, safe place to stay outside the city.

For St Bernard State Park: Nice place. Free Wifi also through out the park. We could not get the $20 rate for walk in so that was mysterious? They charge $26.00 the first day and then $20.00 the 2nd day.
