For Chemin-A-Haut State Park: A small campground conveniently located off of LA 425 just south of the Arkansas border. The campground is nothing special, but the bath house rates a solid 5 stars. Many of the pull-ins are sloping, making them a challenge for RVs. We stayed one night in January 2018 and had the campground to ourselves.

For Chemin-A-Haut State Park: Visited here in Nov 2017 and we loved this little state park. Great campsites, plenty of room, excellent friendly staff and the cleanest nicest restrooms I have seen in 30+ years of camping. Park has great playground, swimming pool, hiking, nice cabins, located on bayou with rental for boats in season. We were visiting friends, stayed 3 nights.
