For Taylorsville Lake State Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Taylorsville Lake Campground. Getting to the campground was easy. The road in the campground is paved and in good condition. The trees are all well trimmed except the one adjacent to our site. The campground check point was open and everyone was friendly. There is no office or store. No parking area at checkpoint. No seasonal campers are there. They provide a map to the site. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits. Our site was a pull thru site with a gravel drive and gravel patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the trees. Our site was level. The site was dry. Site was water and elec only. Sites are a good distance from each other. Bath house is good. There was a laundry room. No swimming pool or hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness area. The grounds are plain. No cable tv. Over air antenna was poor. Wifi was bad. Verizon cell service poor. So here is the bad: Sites have a very fine gravel/dust that easily gets into the rv. No sewer. We liked site 33, 34, 31. I would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Taylorsville Lake State Park: The park was very nice. We stayed in site #40 because we like pull-throughs. It was very even. We like to hike but be warned! The trails here are NOT well marked. The ones for horses are slightly better, but there are different maps, with different names and different routes! The trail called Possum Ridge is most popular, but it is NOT clearly marked where it transitions into other trails. We wound up on Gazebo trail, and it basically has not been maintained, and kind of petered out and disappeared in the middle of the woods! We of course had GPS and could tell where we were, and searched around and found the trail again. But both my wife and I got poison ivy from wandering through the wilderness. There was no wireless, but cell reception was good. There were showers and laundry services. They really need to work on their trails and so that is why I'm giving them 3 stars. If you don't hike, its easily a 5-star place.

For Taylorsville Lake State Park: Flat clean sites on crushed graveL. Spacious sites with water and electric on the RV side. Everything was decorated for Halloween when we were there which was fun. Stayed one night while doing the Bourbon Trail. Stopped after makers Mark and before we went to four roses and Woodford. Bathrooms were clean and they had laundry facilities if you need them. After hours check in was easy and everybody staying there was nice and friendly

For Taylorsville Lake State Park: The sites are very nice, spacious and level. No sewer hook ups but a dump site. Bathrooms need more care. Trails were hard to navigate

For Taylorsville Lake State Park: This campground is spacious, sites are level on fine crushed stone. Most sites are in the open sunlight with younger trees around. The Emerald Ash Borer has been damaging to the Ash trees. Many long trails through a young forest, and it seems that horse campers have lots of hilly trails to ride. Each site has water, 30amp, and 20 amp connections.
Louisville and Bardstown are close (40 mins +/-) by for those wanting to try the Bourbon Trail among other things.
