For Nolin Lake State Park: This may be one of the finest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Only 32 sites with about 1/3 of them having waterfront views. Very level (hard packed gravel) and private sites - lots of trees and grass between sites. 30 minutes to Mammoth Cave NP. Would definitely recommend.

For Nolin Lake State Park: I’m sitting in this park right now. Maybe it’s the perfect weather morning, but this place is great. Looking at a beautiful lake and there aren’t many people here. I’m sure it’s full at times. The campground is a model for cleanliness and design. The sites are some of the nicest we’ve seen. The bathhouse is well maintained and clean. There’s even internet service! If you’re in the Mammoth Cave area, don’t stay anywhere else.
It’s not all perfect though. There are some nighttime bugs near the lake but after all we are near a lake.

For Nolin Lake State Park: Off the beaten path. A gem of a campground. Very nice sites. Some have water view. I agree with previous reviews. Will enjoy a return visit.

For Nolin Lake State Park: The reviews were right and this place is terrific! We had a beautiful campsite on the lake, it was level with a clean and sturdy metal picnic table, and the water and electric worked fine. The bathhouse was well kept and clean. The site is quite level and we wish we could’ve stayed more than one night!

For Nolin Lake State Park: We stayed at Nolin Lake State Park Campground for 3 days in hope of visiting many exciting destinations in Mammoth Cave region. And we glad we did! Our site#3 has 80% shaded and short walking distance to bathroom. All RV sites were back-ins, and all were gravel sites with power pedestal and water spigot in convenient spots. Rates are different on weekday and weekend, so our rate was averaging $18/night. Bathroom were clean and functional; showers have hot water, even a pair of coin-op washers and dryers in laundry room. Boat dock is just past the main office, as well as some nice primitive sites near a beach back there. WiFi is none existence and LTE/3G is weak at some area. OTA TV signal provides around 10 digital channels. Dual dump stations are at the exit with blue trash bin nearby. Supplies run is just 10 miles to Brownsville. Great camping location with many sightseeing opportunities around. We would stay here if pass this way again.
