For Whispering Hills RV Park: This is a nice campground to use as a base camp for all the activities around Lexington KY. We stayed on one of their deluxe paved pull thru sites. The sites are very narrow and tightly packed unless you get one of their few premium sites. Bathrooms/showers are private individual units and were clean and nice. The pool area is very nice and we enjoyed the groups of porch swings. Staff was good and the price was reasonable. Would stay here again.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: Stayed here a couple of times and each time I had a pleasant stay. The staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. Sites are a little tight in my opinion but they are pretty level and seem to be fairly well-maintained. I have stayed by the pond and a pull through up by the office. during the summer, the pool is open until Labor Day weekend and as a pleasant temperature for a hot summer day. For a full hook up, pull through site, the cost isn’t as high as a KOA would be. they do have Wi-Fi but it really isn’t that good at the locations I stayed personally. My Verizon cell signal out there is just OK but I have a hotspot that covers all three major networks. If staying by the pond, just be aware that geese are there quite a bit and leave droppings at your campsite and could pose a threat to little ones that don’t understand what they are. Overall a decent campground. The road to the camp ground is well paved, and wide enough for two vehicles with no issue. there is a nice store down the street that sells a little bit of everything. There is also an on-site camp store that sells miscellaneous camping items and food items as well. Very close to Georgetown and the Toyota manufacturing plant. Whenever I am in town consulting with Toyota, I am usually staying here at this campground.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: Nice park. Close enough to the Ark Enccounter and Creation Museum.
Only strike is that the lots are not level. Should have spent more time on dirt work prior to paving and gravel.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: OK for overnight or family with kids but only with small/med towable or self-contained unit. There are several hard-to-get, larger, quieter pull-thru sites on right side down hill from pool. But as stated previously, road park is on is barely 2 lanes & has no centerline; there’s inadequate parking for tow/towed vehicles; roads in park are maybe 1.5 lanes; very noisy due to 3 bouncy buildings, playground, pool & basketball court; sites require leveling blocks & sites narrow with services too close/placed poorly. Had to move vehicles multiple times for rigs to come and go & had to ask neighbors to move their vehicles for us to come & go. Blocked road while unhooking/hooking trailer. One sewer connection buried under rocks & threads cracked/unusable. Laundry, office & store adequate. Customary shopping/services nearby. Convenient to I-75. Stayed in late May for 2 weeks in 38.5’ 5th wheel & 40’ destination trailer.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: Sites are very tightly spaced. Back in sites are perpendicular to the road. Nearly every tow vehicle is parked across the end on the site.
Noisy in the evening. People talk louder to be heard over others and rigs arriving.
Staff provided us with a very helpful guide to maneuver us into our site. Other guides we watched were less helpful.
Okay for a night or two.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: I would recommend requesting the 200's sites. The road leading into the park was nerve-racking for sure. The two lane road is really a little wider than a one lane and God forbid you meet up with another RV - one of you will have to back up The reservation and check in process were smooth and easy. They site we were given, #3 was basic gravel, unlevel and super small. It was long enough for our rig but the sites are so close together it was not comfortable to sit out side. Most everyone had to park their tow vehicle side ways in front of their rig, which makes the narrow road even more narrow. Our neighbors were very nice and gladly moved their trucks to allow us to pull out easily. The park was full and lots of activities going on. A great place for families. Huge play ground area and a bouncy house type of area where the kids were having loads of fun. We walked around the park and met many very nice people. The other side of the park from where we were put seemed to have a little more space between sites. The pool was closed but the showers, restrooms and laundry were all open. It did the job for a one night stay on our way to Indiana but I wouldn't want stay longer. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Babes barbeque is close and offers very tasty homestyle cooked meals for a decent price.

For Whispering Hills RV Park: Great park. Nice size sites, although no real “privacy†between the sites. Plenty of room for parking the rig if you choose the site based on real length. Close to all the bourbon and horse parks. Whispering Woods Stables is 10 minute drive nd they do a fantastic trail ride. Book the 90minute ride.
Making reservations for next year.
