For Elkhorn Campground: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Elkhorn Creek RV Park. Getting to the campground was no problem. The roads in the campground are paved - gravel and in good condition. The trees seem to all be trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. The camp store is small. There is a large parking area for the office. No escort to our site. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 33, a back in site with a paved slab, and picnic table. The site had a good view of the creek and the golf course. The campground has mostly sunny sites. Our site was not level. The site was dry. There are several seasonal folks located in the campground. The bathhouse was nice. The laundry room is nice. The pool is large and nice. There is no rec room. No workout fitness room. There is no restaurant / deli on site. The grounds have plenty of grass but no plants dividing the sites. No cable. Over the air antenna worked good for local channels. The free Wifi was OK. Here is the bad. Most campsites are way too close to each other. Only the few sites on the end along the creek have a little room. I would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Elkhorn Campground: This was my first campground with Water and Electric hookups in my new TT. It was very pleas at. The outside sites backed up to the Elkhorn Creek. They were deep and very comfortable. The boathouse was very clean and modern. While didn’t use it, the pool looked good. The staff were very pleasant and easy to work with, as I had to extend the stay. It was very quiet, during the weekdays I was there. The only issue I had was the WiFi. It had a moderate signal and was an open network. However, you had to accept the connection and it seems to time out regularly. So working remotely ( with a WiFi extender & even just a direct connection, was a bit frustrating. I had to reconnect several times. Over all a great place and the location worked well. I was visiting friends in Midway, Frankfort and Loiusville.

For Elkhorn Campground: Excellent campground. Great spot for tents to largest Class “A” and 5th wheels. Very clean campground, nice pool, decent putt-putt, nice creek with fish. Easy drive to bourbon distilleries, and Louisville Slugger museum and factory. Would definitely stay here again. Make sure you get one of their hand-dipped ice cream cones-yum!

For Elkhorn Campground: What a lovely campground! Very hospitable staff, quiet, well maintained, clean facilities. Family and pet friendly. Pretty setting. Would definitely come back.

For Elkhorn Campground: Very clean campground as well as the bathroom/facilities. Office personnel were very hospitable. Campground sits in quiet and beautiful environment along the Elkhorn Creek. Would stay again

For Elkhorn Campground: Great spot. Very accommodating. We were traveling with 3 other trailers and they were able to keep us all together in a row. Very quiet campground. Awesome water pressure and crystal clear cable hookup. Couldn’t find the dog park though. Not sure if it’s still there. We would stay again.

For Elkhorn Campground: Had advanced reservations with a 40+’ 5er and they still crammed us into the tightest spot they could. The check in lady wasn’t all that pleasant. May have just caught her in a moment. Long and short: we won’t come back to this park unless it’s all we can get.
