Phancy Campers

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: We stayed here one night while traveling south for TG. The office person was very nice and found us a nice spot. We checked in after hours with no problems. The store clerk was very nice too. During the night however, we counted 8 full size horn blaring very loud trains throughout the night. No one who hears could possibly sleep through that! Thus the 3 stars. A truck stop would have been quieter.

Brian

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: Very friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient to the Ark Encounter. Nice setting. Unfortunately very noisy due to the proximity of the interstate and very active rail line.

Melody

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: If you’re a light sleeper, pass this one by. The CG is between the railroad track and the interstate. Noise is constant not to mention train whistles in the middle of the night. No place to park the truck (had to move it twice for incoming rigs). Sites are very tight and not level. No picnic table or fire ring. No propane. Pool hasn’t been open in a couple of years. Satellite reception bad due to heavy tree coverage. Decent OTA tv. NOT big rig friendly. Staff is friendly. Rate is high considering the lack of amenities.

Alan

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: Park was clean and quiet during the day except for some children playing. Site was gravel and not level. Created issues getting level. Tight sites and looked like a lot of folks stayed full time. Big problem was noise at night. Interstate nearby and busiest train track I have ever stayed by. Multiple trains at night and loud. Would not stay again.

Kris Polmanteer

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: We needed a last minute place to stay while visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. This was a very convenient place to stay. Very easy in and out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the heavy shade and convenient drive through lots.

Heather

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: Called morning of stop and they were very accommodating, especially for Memorial Day weekend. Arrived at 3:30 and was assigned campsite 1. This is the older side of campground that they are still renovating. Clean, friendly! Due to Covid-19, bath facilities closed. There are train tracks across the road from campsite, but it didn’t bother us. Slept great!

Tammy

For Northern Kentucky RV Park: We were passing through during the Corona Virus Pandemic, working our way back to Michigan. The campground we were booked at cancelled last minute. I found this one and they were very helpful on the phone. Offered us a 30amp, water only site. We took it, not knowing what else we would find open. It looks like they are making some great improvements to the park! Our spot would feel small if the campground were full, as it is, we don’t have anyone on either side of us. The highway noise can be heard from the RV with the windows open, but not a big deal. I heard the train only a couple of times, again not a big deal. The pool was not open, nor did we use bath/laundry facilities. Truly the only downside I can see would be the noise. If you are intolerant of anything but pure peace and quiet, this isn’t your spot. If a little road noise doesn’t bother you, the. You would be missing out not staying here! We were in a 40ft class A with a tow vehicle. We did not have to unhook the tow to fit in our spot! We stayed one night and I would definitely come back!
