For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: We stayed here because of it close proximity to Mammoth Cave NP and made a last minute reservation. This place is huge, and as expected jam packed w kids. They have lots of fun activities for kids of all ages - but understand that you will be paying a large extra “activities” fee per night, and that nightly fees vary greatly depending on time of year and weekends. Now that it is owned by Sun Outdoors they have really jacked up the prices. Make sure to stay on a paved site as all the gravel sites are unlevel and in horrible condition. Bathrooms are old and stay dirty (kids in and out). Beware parking your rig and attempting to walk anywhere as you will be almost run over by the swarms of kids speeding around in the rental golf carts screaming and blaring music (day and night). Only giving 3 stars because our paved site was ok and the location is good. Will not stay here again.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: We almost didn’t stay here because of the negative reviews. While this place isn’t perfect, overall we were really happy with our stay. We stopped here for 3 nights as part of our 2 week trip. We love staying at Jellystone because of all of the kid-friendly amenities and some are better than others. We (family of 3 with an 8 year old) stayed over Father’s Day weekend. Saturday was super busy and crowded, but Sunday morning most people cleared out and it was delightful. They have pools, a lake you can swim in, an inflatable obstacle course in the lake (Wibit) which costs extra, a couple of playgrounds, two jumping pillows, a water slide, a pedal kart track, and a foam ball gun game. We’re not big fans of fast food but the Nathan’s here was pretty tasty and was perfect after a day of fun in the water. We were really disappointed the next day when they decided to close at 4:30 and we had to find another option at the last minute. There was also a shortage of change at the property, which made doing laundry a challenge. However, overall we enjoyed our stay and wished we lived closer. BTW, site 24 and around there was a great location for getting to everything. The place is super hilly so the sites aren’t level but that is easy to handle.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Let me start by saying we’re use to staying at state parks. We stayed here because mammoth cave campground wouldn’t fit our rig. This place is big. It is most definitely geared towards families with children. Most gravel sites are not level, ours was not. Shade trees are few. It’s expensive, but the amenities make it worth it. The pool and splash zone were great for our toddler. The aqua park doesn’t open until Labor Day. We did not know that when we booked, so this was not available to us the week before it was scheduled to open. It was relatively quite when we stayed, very few campers. But apparently they fill up when the aqua park is open. With all the campers, golf carts and kids, I’d say it could be rather noisy at peak time. Bath houses were nice and lots of friendly staffers on hand.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: We paid almost $300 for 3 nights over the Labor Day weekend. We book our reservation well in advance but did not specify a site. They put us in 126. This was the smallest site in the park. We asked if we could be moved and they were not the least bit accommodating. We spoke with couple in 122 across the street and they had just been moved from 88 because their equipment wouldn't fit. We called the office and if we could be moved to 88 and they said they couldn't move us because they were full. For the price we paid we should have had much better service. This place is great for kids but has no atmosphere. Way too crowded.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Could easily be 4 stars if lots were more level. Busy park with lots of activities. Definitely for families. If staying long, stay as close as you can to the pool or rent a golf cart.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Pulled into town and grabbed a spot here as it was close and had an opening. For the price we paid, I expected a whole lot more. Had planned to stay several nights after checking it out at first but we hated every minute of this place. The first slot was on such a slope that we asked to be moved. The second was only a little bit better. It was so uneven and with a slope that we were scared to unhitch from our truck. Then the WiFi wouldn’t even work which is really bad for two kids who’ve been riding in a truck for here hours and ready to watch some tv and go to sleep. Was also bummed that they sell day passes so there were a lot of people there that were just using the facilities for the day.

For Mammoth Cave Jellystone Park Camp Resort: Great. Lots of family fun. Many activities. Ground jumping pillow. Out site was level, concrete pad. Nice bath house. Laundry good. All sorts of options to stay. 4 easy miles (driving) to Mammoth Cave. Would stay again with 2 kids.
