For White Acres Campground: Quiet location with access to a great bass fishing lake. Pull-thru sites are long and level. All pads and interior roads are packed gravel. Park is clean, well maintained and has shade from large trees. Turns are adequate for big rigs but be careful at entry from the highway. Plan to swing wide to avoid a culvert. Also if coming from the east on US-62, be ready to turn right into the entry at the top of the hill. Excellent park to stay a few days and visit Bardstown's historic sites. The town library has free WiFi, and nice areas for computer work. The WiFi in the park is weak except next to the office. Overall, this park is good, and the best one in the area. We camped here in a 40' motorcoach. Will return next year.

For White Acres Campground: The camp ground is OK. The shower stalls and toilets in the mens' restroom were generally clean and stocked with tp. I would like to have had a way to keep the shower stall locked because they tend to open, but while we were there most people camped in RVs or 5th Wheels. We stayed in a pop-up. I thought $5 per child was high since we are a family of 6. Just for 2 people it would have only been $20. Overall, it was a good experience.
