For McCormicks Creek State Park: The spots in Loop B, especially in the middle are close together. There are more trees in between sites in Loop A to give more privacy.
This is not a great campsite for tents unless you go primitive. We have a bigger tent and had a hard time finding an electric spot. I didn’t want to pitch the tent on gravel.
The primitive sites are nice and far apart.
Great park to visit, not a great park for tents that want electric.

For McCormicks Creek State Park: Very nice campgrounds. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers have plenty of hot water.
Great hiking trails.
The camp sites are gravel and some are hard to pull in depending on the rig. But I would recommend this nice wooded state park.

For McCormicks Creek State Park: Beautiful state park, many hiking trails thru deep forests, wolf cave, river, CCC structures. No water sites, fill up at an inconvenient spigot. Four clean dump stations. Clean enough bathhouse. Most sites are quite sloped, so short so that we had to park our truck sideways. Inside sites are close, outside sites have plenty of space between. Weekends are typically full of happy families sharing nature.

For McCormicks Creek State Park: Stayed two nights. Park in itself is very nice. The campground is okay. The roads are tight for big rigs and campsites are small and on top of each other. The bathhouse is sufficient but not kept very clean and are easily stopped up and flood.

For McCormicks Creek State Park: Fantastic park. I read the review about being right on top of each other. I don't think they are anymore than others. Plus, there is so many trees I couldn't hear anyone. The outer spots are spaced farther apart though. Beautiful park, VERY wooded. Not much sun at all. Nice trails. Be sure to visit wolf cave.

Roswell
For McCormicks Creek State Park: I stayed in this park for three nights. Most camp sites are right on top of each other. No sense of privacy. I could hear the guy at the next site snoring. I did scope out a few sites that offered a little more seclusion and if I ever find myself 'needing' to stay at this park again, I would try those, but it's not likely I will go back.
