For Caboose Lake Campground: The lake is cute and lots of water activities with big floating structures to climb on and jump from. Now the drawbacks: noisy. So noisy with freeway traffic. The sites are too small for big rigs and trees desperately need trimming. I got my slides out, but awnings are totally out. The water is on the opposite side of the pedestal so I have to run the hose under the rig and across the patio. I’m still not quite sure how I’ll get out of here. I’ll likely have to back out of my pull through but that looks hairy too. Oh. I didn’t mention that this place is $74 power per night with a $5 booking fee. You have to make reservations online, hence the fee. To top this off, there are rules galore with threats of penalties if they feel you’ve broken them. They keep a credit card on file to do this. This will teach me to read the reviews better before I commit

For Caboose Lake Campground: Right next to major highway, lots of traffic noise all night. Trees rub sides of RV need trimming. A little bit pricey for a place to spend the night and not need the entertainment features.

For Caboose Lake Campground: This is a great RV park with very helpful, friendly staff! The parking sites are narrow but due to layout not all are next to each other. We had a great site and pulled in so we could see the lake and even try fishing. Yes you can hear the freeway but compared to other campgrounds with trains & horns this is very nice. We own a 36’ motorhome with a tow and found it easy to navigate. A real plus of a RV park if you are in the area.

For Caboose Lake Campground: We were looking for an overnight spot while passing thru. They advertise the campground as big rig friendly. I called ahead and asked if they had a pull-thru that could handle a 40' class A towing and that had no tree obstructions that would scratch the coach. I was told they had one. Arrived just before 5pm. Was checked in and went on to our site. They pull-thru was long but had trees on both sides that touched the coach before we put the slides out. I called the office but got a recording. Since you can't back up when towing we had to disconnect the car in order to move the coach within the spot so we could put the slides out....not happy. An hour later we were as settled as we could be. The campground is right next to the freeway which normally is not a problem but the traffic was so loud all night, it sounded like a jet constantly taking off while shaking the coach. Definitely would not recommend this campground for big rigs if you care about the paint job on your coach.

For Caboose Lake Campground: We stayed at this campground last night. Liked it so much would have stayed another night if we didn't already have plans. Sits on a small lake with some trees, but we were able to use our satellite. Picnic table & fire ring at each site. $41 per night with Good Sam. There are some monthly or so visitors, but they seem to take some pride in their sites. Lots of kids activities, along with swimming. Seemed very Family oriented, but just fine for us 2 retired with dogs. A walker g path all around the lake is a mile, so nice walking option with dogs. Nothing super fancy or resort like.....just a nice relaxing family place. We would definitely stay here again. Did not use public restrooms. Used 50 amp pull thru
