For Camp Timber Lake: The campers are as always wonderful. Timber Lake Trailer Park is a dump and their website is fake news.
A large number of the sites are permanently occupied and dressed up with schedule 40 sewer hook ups, 75 gal propane tanks, all manner of trash, broken down grills, nasty pontoon boats. Then walking trails are littered junk utility trailers, lumber piles and you name it. It’s a mess.

For Camp Timber Lake: What a great surprise this campground was. Our site 12 was almost lakeside. Very private and quiet. Camped under mature walnut, oak, and maple trees afford lots of shade. My surprise was the Zip line course. We took the challenge and had a great experience. What a feeling to zip among the tree tops! This campground is quite clean, buildings are new. Many employees were maintaining the property. We walked the one mile trail around the lake. This would be a great family cg with so much equipment. Two play yards, boat rentals, fishing, and of course zipping. There are some seasonal campers, but they are in a separated area. Great place. Reasonable price. Camped in 32 foot MH with our dog Oct 10, 2017.

For Camp Timber Lake: Nice campground. We had a pull-through that was quite unlevel and just at the limits for adjustments. Nice views of the main lake. Great zip lines all over although we did not try them. Enjoyed our stay.
