For Charlarose Lake and Campground: Peaceful, quiet, clean - oh so clean- pretty. This is one of the best private campgrounds I have ever been to. The seasonal campers have areas that are clean and well kept. The daily/weekly field is in the open with a few trees. We arrived the day after they had a blue grass weekend and I can’t believe how picked up everything was. No road noise and the birds are singing a good song The bathroom are clean but small. I didn’t use the shower but was told state law prevents temps much higher than 104° plus or minus a few degrees. I highly recommend this location for passing through. Easy to get to and easy to leave. The family that owns this is expanding it and the grandchildren are taking it over.

Keith

For Charlarose Lake and Campground: Campground was very well kept and a beautiful area to boot. Our site was not level and was just a patch of grass with nothing between sites. Lake was nice and they allow fishing (tho didn’t catch anything). We would stay again if in the area.

For Charlarose Lake and Campground: This is such a nice campground. Hosts are terrific. Lots of grassy area. Clean. Seasonal on outer loop and short stays in inner loop. Playground, pond, bath house. We stayed here on our way to our destination and again on our way home.

For Charlarose Lake and Campground: You know you have arrived when you see the white country fence, waving American flags, well manicured lawn, and a cute little country campground. Looks like new office building for check in. VERY friendly staff and campers. The outer loop is seasonal campers which all look well maintained. Inner loop for short term, new road, gravel park pads, so much green grass. Small man made pond stocked w fish, play ground for the kiddies. Water & electric (15, 30, & 50 amp) at our site. Very cute and if passing this way again will be looking this place up.

Alan

For Charlarose Lake and Campground: Quiet place with a whole lot of semi-permanent residents. Water and electric only. I only saw two pull-thru sites, but numerous back in spots. Staff was super friendly and the pond/lake is nice. Playground in the center of park with plenty of room for a 12 yr old to run around and act like a weirdo.
