For Charlestown State Park: The park is nice with several trails. The camp sites are hit or miss for big rigs. We could not get our awning out due to trees and had to park carefully to get our bedroom slides out. Also, we needed 2 blocks under the rear tires to get level. Leveling without the blocks put the rear tires in the air. We would come back, but have noted some sites that we would fit in better. If you have a TT, you will probably fit in most spots. Class A & 5ers need to pick sites that will fit for both height and length. Then there is the occasional guest who just ignores the rules. The view out of our front window was a site with a TT, 2 pick up trucks and a pontoon boat parked in it. The rules allow a RV and 1 other vehicle. We didn’t complain and the rangers didn’t seem to care.

For Charlestown State Park: Beautiful state park with spacious, level sites. Nicely maintained and very quiet. Lots of nice trails for hiking, running or biking. They have a nice overlook and oat launch at the far end of the (huge) park. Minus one star because we chose this to be close to Louisville attractions but it is actually about 30 minutes away. Not much at all near the campground, but if you stay here don’t miss jef’s bakery for the 'ost amazing donuts and such. Open 24/7.

For Charlestown State Park: Close to Louisville, this campground is clean, spacious, quiet and full of wildlife. We had a full hookup site and it was perfect for exploring the Louisville area. It is very quiet and well maintained.

For Charlestown State Park: Very nice park! Great bike trails huge park very quiet when we were here on August 11stayed 3 nights so nice we are coming back tomorrow! They are spacious sites but not very wide on concrete. very few full service they could use more some sites are very short we were lucky we are ada. Beautiful park

For Charlestown State Park: Very clean. Nice space between sites. Relatively quiet. Rose Island hiking trail was cool, the trek down was much nicer than the trek up! T-Mobile service was good.

For Charlestown State Park: Absolutely exquisite. Campgrounds are flat and well-spaced. The park is massive. Solid heat and water pressure in the showers.

For Charlestown State Park: Very clean park in all ways. Showers/restrooms extremely clean and definitely handicap accessible. Great handicap camping spots.
