For Lake Monroe Village: My grandkids (8 and 5) came with me and my husband to spend the night at the campground and we’re charged $10/person extra above the $80/ night camping fee. My daughter and son in law came down the next day ($20 for then to visit) and $10 for their car. We were charged another $20 for the grandkids for the next day since they didn’t leave by check out at 11:00am. This place is ridiculous!!! Only one car allowed at camp site. Not even allowed to bring second car to site to drop off food! We will never come back again!

For Lake Monroe Village: This was a very nice RV Park and the owners were very friendly. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought they were expensive compared to other comparable RV parks we’ve been to. They also seemed to have a lot of expensive add-ons for everything (eg. it cost $10 for a person to visit for the day, $15/day for an extra vehicle, etc.). We ran into a glitch with their online reservation system so be sure to call and speak with someone and don’t depend completely on their online system. The online issue somehow let me reserve a site even though they had none available. They were very apologetic and found a water/electric only spot on the grass for us (we reserved full hook-ups). The park was kept clean and neat and we enjoyed our stay there. In the end it all worked out fine.

For Lake Monroe Village: This is our go-to campground when we visit family in Bloomington. Nice level pads and plenty of room to stretch out. Very well maintained and very friendly staff. Some sites close to the road (the only reason for 4-stars). Recommend highly. We will be back!
