Sweet Life

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Fantastic Park. A few miles of hiking trails and fishing pond behind sites. After a long day driving kids loved walking and a great little playground. Escorted us to our spots which was great. Little tight for a big rig. We were 33ft with a toad and it was tight but doable. Great part!!

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Very nice, quiet campground with easy interstate access. The pool and playground were a big hit with the kids after a long day on the road.

Yamhillian

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Nice campground. Spaces with trees are tight. New gravel and level spaces.

Don't book online. 10% fee plus no GS discount. Just call and book by phone. Freeway noise was not bad.

Cyndi

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Great, funny, new owner. Great place to camp. Clean, pet friendly, and easy on/off highway. Owner and other campers very helpful during our truck breakdown fiasco. Would definitely stay here again. Not expensive. Full hook ups.

jeff

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: The campground was very clean and the hosts/ owners very nice. The sites were kind of small. There is a nice big dog area where the dogs can run and play fetch. The only reason this campground did not get five stars from us is, we didn't care for the homemade fire bowl. The owner brings a home constructed fire bowl to your site but you have to request it. although the bowl is large, its not as convenient as a permanent fire pit.
