For Comlara County Park: This campground will always be my first night stay when traveling through Illinois on I-39. They’re open all year (electric), there are pull-thrus, and it’s easy to get to off the highway. Which is very important with a 36’ motor home towing a car and for one night after a day of driving. And, there is a nice view of the lake. It also appears that they’ve added wi-fi!

For Comlara County Park: A very nice campground for RV's or Tents. Great location on a lake, also near interstate but not so close you get noise. The shower facilities were very old unless you were
near the non-RV camping area boat ramp, and those were very nice. But it would be a pain to get to from the RV area, especially at night, it's a bit too far to walk.
I camped at this campground for 3 1/2 weeks. It's electricity only, but the dump works, and the water outlets are everywhere. I noticed that it was pretty empty
during the week but filled up on the weekends. People who camp here in RV regularly were hooking up hoses permanently during their stay to the water supplies, and
seems everyone had a "Y" splitter.
The best surprise at this campground was the Veterans discount of 50% ! Since I stayed for over a week, they also gave me another 20% discount on top of that!
Overall very great deal, clean, great shaded spots, and very quiet. I camped part of September and October.
