For Round Lake State Park: Beautiful area! Pleasant lake for swimming and kayaking. Great hike around the lake with many informative signs. Bathrooms and campground were clean. Roads and sites will be hard for larger RVs to negotiate

For Round Lake State Park: Crazy price for a state park for out of state. $65… I hope Oregon does the same for Idaho residents! Not paying… not going. I guess that is what you want… to discourage campers from other states. Shame on you Idaho.

For Round Lake State Park: Did not stay overnight, stopped by to hike but drove the CG. If you are not an Idaho resident you are charged double, $62 per night for basic site and $74 with electric and water. The steep prices benefit me as an ID resident but double is ridiculous. Overall a very tight CG with not much privacy or screening between sites. No paved pads, many of the dirt parking pads looked unlevel, short, and narrow. Not a place I would stay for more than a night especially at those prices.

For Round Lake State Park: We had the place to ourselves in mid October. One of a few campgrounds still open for the season. Well maintained facilities. Water was turned off for winter, but pit toilets were open and clean. Nice walking trails. Pets welcome. No dogs on the beach. Campsites are best for car camping, vans or a small trailer, not for large RVs. The ranger stopped by in the morning and was friendly. I would stay there again. We just stayed one night - passing through.

For Round Lake State Park: Better for tent camping. Anything larger than a pop up will have problems. Restrooms are clean with push button showers. Campsites could be cleaner. The lake is nice but the price to rent a boat is excessive ($55/day) in my opinion. Overpriced for what you get.
