For Albeni Cove: For a small campground with no hookups, this is a fantastic park. The US Corp of Engineers closed it in 2021 to revamp the sites, so they are mostly level, gravel sites now. Tucked in the trees, right next to Albeni Falls Dam it has nice views of the Pend Oreille River, with a beach and boat ramp. We were here in late May, and the water level hadn’t risen enough for the ramp to be useable, but people said this becomes a busy park once it is. One site, #14, has electricity and phenomenal views, while sites 10-13 are walk-in tent sites right on the water’s edge. Sites #2 and #3 are strangely laid out, being pull throughs that share the same driveway. That means unless you are camping together, they aren’t really pull throughs. And you have to each back in, which puts your RV’s door on the wrong side, away from the picnic table.

For Albeni Cove: Spent 2 nights here in spot 8. It's a favorite for families, so not super quiet ... But since it is small ... It's not too much of an issue. Just about all campsites have a water view. The bathrooms are super clean and nice for a campground ... But marked as closed 4 hours a day for cleaning ... We were fine. Value for money can't be beat!
