For Ten Mile Campground: From Labor Day weekend 2019. Visited in a travel trailer, the sites seemed ideal for both tent camping and trailers. The parking spots varied widely in length and evenness, but they all seemed reasonable. The trees give ample shade and we only had 4-5 hours of direct sunlight a day but our neighbors never had direct sun. The campground is split across Highway 21, and there is water access at the bottom half to sit in and play in a cold, shallow stream. The highway does generate frequent road traffic noise during the day but it didn’t bother us and I don’t remember hearing anything at night. The water is a constant and soothing burble in the background and there are plenty of insect noises. Bugs seemed average for the forest, with flies during the day and some mosquitos in the evenings. Vault bathrooms were slightly above average in cleanliness and smell, and were fully stocked with TP. A manual water pump was available.
