For Pine Ridge - Steamboat Rock: We stayed 2 nights in Oct 2021in Steamboat Rock, IA, at the Pineridge County Campground. We were a short 10 min. or so drive from eastbound rte. 20. Our campsite was under large trees close to the river in the pretty grassy campground. Electric hookup sites for $15 night. Water spigots available in the park. Clean, neat restrooms with toilets and showers, old but well maintained. Fire ring and table and long gravel driveway at site. We were in a truck camper and had plenty of room. There were many large 5th wheelers in the park also. There was a covered multi use area for group get togethers. On site host was friendly and pleasant and brought us a load of firewood free - (Almost end of season). We had very adequate T-Mobile cell. service. A very pleasant experience, we will return.

For Pine Ridge - Steamboat Rock: Very *bad* park host,rules say no holing spots but he holds spots for regular campers !!!! No refunds and don't answer your questions about rules he will just call the cops and say he don't want to fight !!!!! Get a new park host down here plz !!!!!
