For Tower Rock - Steamboat Rock: We used to love to frequent Tower Rock! It was the best and most quiet and enjoyable campground. Several years ago we were told it was closed down after 9 or 10 pm (therefore no camping) due to vandalism!!!! Do you really believe campers who come to enjoy this park would vandalise? If you are concerned about area teens vandalising in the evenings, then wouldn't it make more sense to close down during the week and allow campers and families to enjoy the peace and quiet of the wonderful campground on weekends. We were very disappointed that it closed. I hope it reopens soon and would love to hear if it does. Please do not blame the families and campers for what is obviously persons who don't regularly use Tower Rock for defacing it. Even without water and electricity it is a very beautiful and enjoyable spot!
