For West Lake Park Scott County Park: Great little campground. No reservations, FCFS. Office open until 10 so that helps. Only stayed 1 night, in and out but great place from what we saw.

For West Lake Park Scott County Park: Clean, quiet and frequently patrolled by rangers. We stayed here one night while traveling. Sites are fairly large and there are lots of trees. Nice fire ring and picnic table at every site. Staff was very friendly.

For West Lake Park Scott County Park: They still do a great job at this place. Ranger came to our site to check us in so we wouldn't have to unhook. Only $22 a night for water and electric.

For West Lake Park Scott County Park: Scott county does an awesome job! Nice, level sites. Good spacing. Stayed at Park Terrace with full hookup - Gate 5. Small concrete pad and table at each site. Space for two vehicles at most sites. Parking lot at front if need. Super clean facility. Only drawback is first come - no reservations - and max stay of 14 days for each 28. Great trails for dog walking, playgrounds for little ones, huge frisbee golf course, and beach in summer. We stayed 2 weeks. Price is great at $22 nightly for 50 amp plus sewer. (Fall 2014). I give it 5/5. Can't think of anything they could improve.

For West Lake Park Scott County Park: The have two campgrounds in the park. Park Terrace is the nicer of the two with concrete pads, good shade, some pull throughs and full hookups. The is a playground for the kids and an office on site. I don't believe they sell anything other than firewood. Overall, very clean campground with big sites. There is primitive/tent camping near the back that can sometimes drawn in some gems. Other campground is summit. It is nice too, but no sewer hookups at each site. Just a dump station. Sites are big with some pull throughs. Not as shady as the other but still ok. Restrooms and showers at each are very clean and kept up. Summit has a playground too. Aside form that, both are within a large county park. Super nice park with great fishing at west lake park. Also boat rentals and swimming at the beach area of the lake. We live close by and camp here a lot. But, it is first come first served and they are usually full by mid Friday on nice weekends. So call ahead to see if anything is available.
