For Little Sioux Park: The campground is very well kept and clean. The pads were gravel and fairly level. They had a fire pit with an attached grill and picnic table not chained to the ground with plenty of yard space. Most of the sites have excellent shade and with well-developed trees. The water and electric sites fill up quickly Friday and Saturday. The primitive and electric sites stay fairly open. The different campgrounds are separated by about 1/2 mile or so. I wish we could reserve in advance though to have kept our group together, not it is good to have a first come, first serve too. There is a couple of hiking trails near by. We did not check them out though. There is fishing in the pond and some swans they keep on the north side. The beach is on the south and is great for swimming with clear water. The catfish and bluegills gather right at your feet. The kids spend hours trying to catch them. The sand is pretty good but could be better. Not terrible fine. They have at least two playground for the kids to play at. We enjoyed the rehabilitated prarie land with lots of flowers to gather the pollinators. We will definitely be coming back for another visit!

For Little Sioux Park: Nice place. Bathrooms were clean. Fishing was good.
