For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Off season review: a lot of improvements underway which is great! It has a lot of potential. Not to far from Chattanooga, quiet, remote area. Great welcoming staff. New clean well designed bathrooms! Site (we were in 30amp area near cabins) were sardined in! Street lights were ridiculously bright, Walmart parking lot bright! Good luck in those cabins! Bring eye cover. Hard to evaluate “amenities” since all closed per usual off season but dog area looks good ( but no dog). Coarse stone every where, old weathered, falling down board fences. Really hope the renovations work out here! Could be good! Would not go back.

Kanne
For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Very nice campground. It is not in the main roads but very convenient. We stayed one night. The staff were very courteous and friendly. We have a 45 ft toyhauler. Our site was level. The only negative is the sites are very close to one another.

TM
For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: This KOA is in a beautiful area with lots of gorgeous nature nearby to enjoy. The campground itself is on a mountainside with lots of trees and birds. At check in we were told that they got rid of cable TV because the WiFi is so great that we can stream whatever we want (Netflix, etc). This is NOT true. I couldn’t even send a text with a photo attached! There are a few over-the-air television channels that pretty much turned grainy after dark. As others mentioned, some of the sites are in interesting configurations, almost sitting on top of the neighboring campsite. The nightly rate is a bit high for what you (don’t) get, unfortunately typical for some KOAs. I’d look for another campground next time in the area.

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: No WiFi signal. No cable. Mud holes everywhere. Our surge protector
Blew here. Not sure why. Had to replace.
The bathrooms were newly remodeled and very nice.

For KOA Holiday Chattanooga West: Great stop! Only issue was temporary bathrooms but even those were nice. Will definitely come back.
