For Stone Mountain Park Family Campground: Just left here and was extremely disappointed. Had been here years ago and had fond memories of here but feel the park has deteriorated considerably. Roads and campsites were in very poor condition needing repair and leveling. The location relative to MARTA (public transportation) and Atlanta is the best part of camping here. We have been full timing for over three years, camping all over the country and found this park was too expensive for the conditions compared to what we have experienced thus far. The park looks old and worn out.

For Stone Mountain Park Family Campground: Have stayed in the park at least 5 or 6 times over the past 5 years. It is a wonderful place to stay whether visiting Atlanta or just wanting a nice getaway. We enjoy taking long walks and the park provides a wonderful environment to do so. The park is very well maintained and though some sites can be a little rough or unlevel we have learned those to request. We enjoy our stays there very much. We have traveled to almost every state and Canada and have stayed in hundreds of parks and this certainly ranks in the top 10 percent for ambiance, cleanliness and feeling of security. We travel in a 42' motor home.

For Stone Mountain Park Family Campground: Spent the weekend at Stone Mountain campground. Staff were very friendly. It was February so there was a very small crowd. Nice view of the lake and the mountain. Bathrooms were clean and in good order. Great place for Atlanta camping.

For Stone Mountain Park Family Campground: Have stayed in the park 5 times in a motor home and have always had a great experience. We have found the campsites to be clean and enjoy the serenity of the environment. Some sites are better than others as far as being level or rough but generally it is a great place to stay within the Atlanta area and look forward to our next stay

For Stone Mountain Park Family Campground: Had a good experience. We visited during easter week. Facilities we clean and people where helpful. Great place when visiting off season.
