RVING 'Round
For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Be careful of this place. First this is across from a cemetery. We pulled in to register and it is a combo park/liquor store. The gas pumps look very old and I am not sure they work. We booked for two nights. The staff was friendly while checking in. We went to our site to find old, broken down RVs and campers around us. There was someone next door smoking and smoke was getting into our RV. He has 5 large dog beds around his camper. The place is run down and we felt very unsafe. We went to the office and explained how we could not stay here. She would NOT refund any of our money and said it was their policy. We pulled out there without a refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far, far away. Try Tigbee Island. It's great!!!

For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Nice location, away from highway and city noise. It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Downtown Savannah if you miss traffic. Nice pool and laundry facilities. Spaces are level but a bit low, flooded when it rained. They are currently re-trenching for dish network to lay new lines and cut water service and cable service but had it back up quickly. Bathhouses are average and unisex but separated nicely. Summertime nats, mosquitoes and bugs are present, bring spray or stay indoors. Wifi I'd available but can be weak, I believe it's part of the cable upgrade though. Would definitely stay again.

For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Well it's Friday & it's so quite worth the 28 bucks to be off the highway

Sachmo
For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Good for an overnight or a location close to Savannah. Sites are close together with no privacy. Staff was very friendly and otherwise had a good experience here. Wireless was strong.

For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Old and noisy. Site they tried to give us was not wide enough for a picnic table under the awning. Had given cc by phone and wouldnt refund . Told us they were walking distance to amenities and had a shuttle to savannah. The truth is they are not walking distance and the shuttle was a tour that can be purchased leaving at 9am and returning at 5pm

For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Savannah Oaks is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly, helpful and prompt to fix any problem. It is very quiet at the campground. I have stayed at Red Gate Farms, but prefer Savannah Oaks. The Internet is fast and the cable television is also great. I have been staying at Savannah Oaks for a month in a 37' travel trailer.

For Savannah Oaks RV Resort: Old and noisy. Too close to a busy highway. There are sites that are farther away from the highway, and i would recommend asking for one of those if you stay here. 30 amp sites are in disrepair. (read that as poorly maintained gravel and dirt) The 50 amp sites are on pads, so are better in bad weather. Very pretty, as all sites are in among large old oaks with Spanish moss hanging from them, but we will not stay here again.
