For Lotts Island Army Airfield: Stayed @ campground 12 / 22 thru 1 / 2 had a WONDERFUL time. Campground was clean, camp sight was a great size with plenty of grass & OH the trees , how can you not love the Spanish moss hanging from them. Nathan our camp host was AWSOM. Bless his heart he was even out on Christmas Day tending to the grounds making sure everything was picture perfect. The camp is conveniently located close to everything malls, restaurants, Old Savanna you name it. Not only would I highly recommend this campground, but can’t wait to camp here again.

For Lotts Island Army Airfield: Place has potential if cleaned up. All sites are so unlevel, says 30/50 amp but when we tried to hook up to the 50 amp we got nothing. We were there when no one was at the office and no emergency numbers posted or Camp host. Took apart the electrical box an 50 amp lines were completely disconnected. Several empty spots which we could've possibly moved to, but no one to contact or a board posted showing what spots were rented. Some people living there and they should really look at making one of them a camp host for the two days of the week no one is working.

Jersey Devils
For Lotts Island Army Airfield: This campground is a disappointment. There are only a small amount of full hook ups. If you don't have a reservation, you have to park in the primitive area with low hanging trees and soft ground. You then have to find the check in which is at the recreation rental office, but it isn't open every day. They have a map of the base located on a tree but the map doesn't have your location on it. We spent two hours trying to find the check in building. The camp ground is located next to the main town and you hear cars and sirens all night.
