For Florence Marina State Park: Nice State Park with friendly staff. We visited on a vary rainy weekend and had to change sites due to standing water. I would not stay at site 43 during rainy weather again.

For Florence Marina State Park: A great park, definitely on our list to return. We stayed in a pull-through in our Jayco Eagle 317RLOK with two vehicles. There was plenty of room. Our site was a little close to our neighbor, but was OK. Full hookup. Great place for kids to play - a lot of open area that is well kept. Bathrooms were very nice.

For Florence Marina State Park: We stayed here 8/9-8/11 of 2019. Overall this is a nice campground with level sites. Some sites are paved and some are gravel but they all seemed to be level. The campground was well taken care of but it was time to mow in our campsite and the ones around us, it was the middle of summer though and I think the grass grew about 2 inches in the weekend we were there, so I don’t fault them for that. The campground host was awesome, they have ice and firewood available at the after hours check in which is with the host. He also had popsicles for the kids which was nice since it was SUPER hot! Even mid day most of the campsites have good shade and still feel pretty open. Campsites are close but staggered so they don’t feel cramped. The only thing that gave us problems were the pesky gnats and the sugar ants, again I can’t hold that against the campground, but if you are camping there in the middle of summer be prepared for the army of gnats!, they know no bounds and are relentless!

For Florence Marina State Park: Stayed when temperatures were below freezing and appreciated the large, clean, toasty warm bath house. Sites are fairly level, some are paved. Nearby Providence Canyon SP is worth a visit to see Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon".
