For Sugar Mill Plantation RV Park: If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know what this place was like 2 years ago when it had all these good reviews, but in 2020 it sure doesn't deserve glowing reviews. They have about 8 spaces available to rent to overnight campers and trust me they could care less about you. The front loop in front of the office is decent. Nice campers, quiet people....except for an occasional drunk knock at your door in the middle of the night. But don't venture beyond that. The owners of this park should be embarrassed. Nothing looks like their website and the managers/owners can't be bothered to answer your questions. All these people saying that it is a quiet park?? HA! It is literally 20 yards off an extremely busy highway. It is SO loud and sometimes the trucks are going so fast we can feel our RV shake from them passing by us. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE, unless you want people living in tents fulltime camping next to you. What a dump.

For Sugar Mill Plantation RV Park: Nancy was very friendly and helpful. Had a spot for me when no one else did, while evacuating from Hurricane Dorian (Sept2019). Peaceful campground, friendly people. Pet friendly. Sites just beside highway are a bit noisy, but many others are quiet and wooded near ponds.

For Sugar Mill Plantation RV Park: Stayed at Sugar Mill for several days during Hurricane Irma evacuation. Hard to judge because they were got as many campers as they could into the park, GREAT JOB! The park has a beautiful pine canopy. We watched red headed woodpeckers, brown headed nuthatches, northern mockingbirds, tufted titmouse and other birds. There are some residents but their sites are well maintained. The ponds had ducks. The staff were very nice and the facilities were well maintained. Close enough to Thomasville to eat out or pickup items we had forgotten.
