For Doll Mountain Campground: Rv Site 41 is huge and beautiful mountain top. Felt like I owned the world while I stayed here. so relaxing no noise Mon- Wed. 4 New private locking family sized bathrooms/showers near site one. Older less private bath/showers @ tent site 38. All are clean & good. The rest of the tent sites are far from bathroom/shower… half mile? Rv sites have huge decks that could work for tents if they allow it.

For Doll Mountain Campground: Amazing campground! Everything about it is perfect for a relaxing get away. Quite, private sites above/overlooking the lake, good filter of trees between sites, calming lake effect. We stayed on site 33 with filtered lake view and all sites in this loop had the same type view. Clean bathhouse with 2 hot showers. Drove 45 minutes to Fort Mountain State Park for hiking, did close by wineries and simply relaxed We’ll be back.

For Doll Mountain Campground: Nice campground with some great views for some of the sites. We stayed two nights in site 21 and had some nice sunsets through the trees. One can see the lake from the pad, but its not a great view. I’d suggest the mid-20s loop for better views of the lake. About 150 yards from the water but had a neat hike down if you want some swimming! Bathhouses were clean but dated. The roads in are very steep. If you have a heavy rig you want to turn the brake controller up. In fact, the first hill past the guard shack was a hard grade. Lots were graveled and very nice. Definitely will stay there again. That said, its hard to get a reservation for more than one night for most seasons but well worth the effort.

For Doll Mountain Campground: This is one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve visited. We stayed in loop 1-13, and the sites are very spacious and easy to maneuver into. Lots to do in the area: boating, fishing, and hiking. Or you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet during the week like we did.

For Doll Mountain Campground: Steep curvy roads lead to lakeside, or lakeview thru trees, spacious sites, paved pad, wooden deck, gravel area for grill and fire pit, trash hooks, picnic table. Bathhouse and laundry might be located a goodly walk from site. Boat ramp for campers. Our site was FHU, well-shaded, with good views of the lake below. A few sites faced uphill, away from the lake? Verizon connectivity was decent enough.
