For Shrine Park: Needed a place close to I 75 for an overnight. Campground hosts promptly called after I left message. Told them we didn’t know what time we would arrive as Atlanta traffic is unpredictable. She said no problem. The campground is a huge field with lots of sites. Very quiet. Lots of seasonals that are probably area workers. FHU for $47. We were far from the bath house but we have a shower in the RV. No fancy stuff here, but nice people running the place. Sites level. Would stay again (January) but in summer most sites are without shade so might be hot in summer.

For Shrine Park: The surrounding campgrounds are not safe at all. Have been warned by many about the surrounding area. However- this campground gets 5 stars for safety. It’s gated and they keep this place quite. There are no amenities though such as swimming pools or playgrounds. There is a nice lake to go fishing in though and lots of walking area. I’d give 4.5 stars if it was an option- just wished there was a playground.

For Shrine Park: Field sites. Quiet. Gated call button for nights and weekends answered promptly. Wanted payment in morning. No one around to collect. Left cash Passport number in envelope. This was around 9AM
