For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Campground was very nice with concrete pad to park on. Not many sites with full hook up. We had electric and water only. The cable did not work. The facilities were very clean and nice. Stayed one night, but probably never again. The trains come right beside the park, and we had at least 5 come through overnight. The trains were noisy enough, but with a crossing there they lay on the horns will passing through.

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: We stayed here for an overnight. We very much enjoyed the staff, the site we had and the quiet of the campground. There is a train track near the park. Our site was 44C. We could hear the trains occasionally. Not frequently though. The train noise wasn’t enough to disrupt our sleep either. We will absolutely stay here again. Security 24/7, gated and concrete pads at every site we saw. The shower house was very nice and clean as well.

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Awesome for our RV with trailer and motorcycles pet friendly camp ground except for the train whistle’s which was exciting and regular. Several waterfront campsites fire pits nice wooded area nice lake will return a little on the pricey side. Just stayed one night but would consider longest day

Thomas

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Lovely campground shaded with tall pines on Lake Allatoona, but: 1) Freight trains less than 200 yards from our campsite blasted their whistles every 45 to 60 minutes, day & night. 2) WIFI is extremely slow and sporadic. 3) Beware, this campground offers no refunds for any reason--if you give them your money you won't get it back! Tracy

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Nice campgrounds. But the train is all night long! Loud! If your a heavy sleeper it may not bother you. Not sure if we would return.

MonteD

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Camp is literally 200 feet from RR. A RR crossing is very near the entrance and trains came through almost every hour all night long; three long amazingly loud whistle blasts each time a train came through. Camp was nice, we had a very level spot but the trains!

SusieO

For Allatoona Campground and Beach: Spent one night here in our 45 ft MH. Many sites are not level!! The map and the way they marked it to our site was not the easiest way to get to it and back in.

The staff was friendly. We will not return due to so many sites being very uneven.
