For Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park: The good: Nice level gravel campsite on the lake. Beautiful and well maintained park. Peaceful. Well supplied checkin / store.
The Not So Good: No camp host. No gate security. Comfort station maintenance was sporadic. One of men’s toilets did not flush and the maintenance crew was aware of it but posted no sign indicating it was broken. Women’s bathroom was not so good two of the days we were there. Firewood bought on site would not burn with a blow torch. There is Very little to do any where outside of campground. Providence Canyon SP is the best bet. Little in the way of restaurants or gas stations nearby. WIFI was on again off again using T-Mobil. Not much better at the office DNR provided WIFI.

For Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park: Beautiful park, quiet, swimming beach, paddle boat rentals & canoe rentals. Hiked one trail & obviously not travelled often as lots of bushes growing into path. Mini golf old & needs a lot of repair. No RV, cell or wifi. Stayed 2 nights. Did not go into the town of Blakey. We would stay again for a few nights. Call for directions as roadwork in area.

For Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park: Nice state park. Stayed one night. Bath house with showers was fine. Clean and tidy. Miles of trails, though some not well kept. Would stay again.

For Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park: A nice park. Plenty of room between sites so you don’t feel crowded. Many pull thru sites. Indian mounds are interesting. Biking is nice in this flat park. Gnats can be bothersome in the summer months. Very poor reception for my ATT phone. Main, oldest bathhouse is a bit smelly but usable. Some of the newer bathroom buildings probably better but I didn’t check to see if all had showers. A nice lake with alligators-beware signs. Rental kayaks and canoes available.

For Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park: Stopped there for two days on our way out west. Nice park. Bathhouse needs some TLC and more regular cleaning. Mounds are spectacular.
