For St Lucie South: Beautiful spot for a great price. We had RV 3, right on the river. We spent one night but would happily return for longer.
I can’t imagine you can get a site in the fall/winter high travel season. It’s too beautiful.

For St Lucie South: I'd go back. We stayed in RV spot 8. I'll try and get one of the 3 on the water next time. Our spot had a concrete pad and very level. Fire ring and bbq was on each site. They had free fire wood and that was night. Of course watching the boats use the locks was nice and COE has a visitor center. Has some history on the inland waterway and the locks. Good for a few hours. To the north is a yellow and red walking path. 0.7 and 0.3 mile to kill some time. The ranger was off this last Sat but they do offer a locks control room tour. I'd loved to seen that. Restroom shower house is small but was clean and everything worked. Big fan of the Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds. This is a small one but nice.

For St Lucie South: We paid $20 just to use the RV dump and to refill with fresh water. When we found the water spigot capped however, we told the attendant, Edna, that we could just use a spigot in one of the sites and she said "OH NO YOU WILL NOT - I WAS JUST BEING NICE WHEN I TOLD YOU YOU COULD USE THIS ONE". Most of the time we are welcomed by incredibly nice park attendants; it's hard to comprehend why this one has to be so hostile.

For St Lucie South: Crowded in space but still very nice, well kept up park. Friendly people and staff.
