For North Beach Camp Resort: I’m on the fence on this one. I went from 3 to 4 stars just because of location. I think for the price, its probably fair, but I have a few gripes.
PROs:
-great location with access to both the intercoastal and the Atlantic.
-reasonable lot size (we have a 24ft class B) with quite a bit of privacy and shade.
-two decent restaurants within a 5ish minute walk
-nice beach, quiet (late Feb)
-close to St. Augustine beaches and historic area.
-quiet campground with a laid-back vibe with space and vegetation between sites; trees for shade (we don’t have satellite)
-our site was reasonably level, but we had to park away from the hookups because that area did slope down. Next site over is dropped down relative to this one. Saw a worker go by grading the sand roads. We had to back up an incline to get in, but that was clearly noted when we made the reservation.
-small shop on site, mostly beach stuff, but some limited supplies. Also beer and wine.
Cons:
-The facilities could have been cleaner. They are definitely dated.
-wifi access non-existant at our site. We could see the bathrooms/laundry facilities that had the closest access point to us about 100 yards from our site, but never got a signal over 1 bar (which is essentially useless). Most of the time our devices didn’t even detect their wifi.
-also very bad cell reception (AT&T). Two bars at most. Note: we were here right after AT&T nationwide outage, so not sure if that was the problem. Even in the totally open area at the beach we got minimal signal. We do have a few small trees near our site, but the site is mostly open to the sky.
-cable connection was unprotected. Just a coax cable outside of the electrical box with a female to female adapter on the end. Totally exposed to the elements. Signal was fuzzy no matter what we tried.
-water pressure a little low. Had to run our pump a few times to get hot water heater to kick in.
We’re here for a few days passing through, so whether you stay here depends on what you are looking for. It’s a beach location. Sand is inevitable.
Aside from the wifi access., it’s a completely fine place to stay, but don’t expect luxury amenities. You are paying for the location.

For North Beach Camp Resort: They could do so much more with this camp ground. Just know that the sites are sand and your rig will be messy. They should put in cement slabs. Some rigs had tarps covering the entire site! It’s convenient to St. Augustine but I would choose the campground south of the city. There aren’t any bathrooms or convenient garbage. No playground for kids and no dog play area. It’s very expensive and you’ll be cleaning from the moment you get there.

For North Beach Camp Resort: Excellent large level sites with full hook ups. Very private. Across the street from a dog friendly beach. Close to historic St Augustine.

For North Beach Camp Resort: Facilities dirty. Site was level but had trash. Trash was not conveniently located. Great location right across from beach.

Kiki
For North Beach Camp Resort: The bathrooms at the front were filthy and even after complaining fecal matter was still all over the front of one of the toilets. Trash is a long walk to dump, no convenient cans. Great location and the sites were level but trash was in our site when we got here. Price was not reflected by in the facilities.

Ron
For North Beach Camp Resort: We stayed here for a night in our Class C on our way further south. The campground is awesome. Sites were the most spacious we’ve been in and the native vegetation between sites gives you a great deal of privacy. Our site, 54, was hard packed sand and very level. I liked that the electric panels were higher so that our Hughes Protector was off of the ground. All of the hookups were in great shape. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was very helpful There is a great restaurant, Aunt Kate’s, right next to the campground, which served great food, with great views of river. The ocean is right across the road from the campground The bathrooms and showers as well as the laundry facilities were spotless. St. Augustine is an ez 15 minute drive away. We’ll definitely stay here again on our future trips, hopefully for more than 1 night.

Pete
For North Beach Camp Resort: This is not your typical campground. This is something special. Where else can you place your RV in a private, secluded site within walking distance to the ocean and a beautiful river? There are great restaurants right on the ocean across from the entrance to the park. We ate at Aunt Kate’s, an easy walk from our site (99). It’s on the river. If the weather is nice, you can eat on the outside deck. Our power and cable hookups were reliable. Some of the reviewers have dinged this location because of the sand roads and sites. Folks, we’re camping! If you are afraid of dealing with a little sand, stay home. The mature native plants and trees create a lush environment that I have not seen elsewhere. Be careful when crossing the main road walking over to the beach. It’s 50 mph and cars close on you very quickly at that speed. The park is 15 minutes to old town St. Augustine and all it’s great shops and things to do and see. This will be a destination location for us in the future.
