For Anastasia State Park: I don’t understand why this campground gets 5 stars. Swampy sites in tree covering far away from the ocean. And there’s a huge parking lot with a few cars but RVs aren’t allowed to park there. Crazy!

For Anastasia State Park: This is a really nice campground. Spacing is not super but vegetation barriers are good. Proximity to St Augustine is great. About 10 minutes. No wifi and cell signal is poor. Dump station is the best I have ever been to.

For Anastasia State Park: This was serene, clean, close to beach, nearly level sites, sand covered sites. 30amp, water on all sites. SnackBar with amenities. Call ahead or just take a chance like we did. There was a cancellation, we got it. Will be back.

For Anastasia State Park: Stayed 5 nights in site 134. I test the water quality at every camp site we visit. Unfortunately the Total Dissolved Solids at site 134 bib, even after a good 5 min flush was 580 ppm. Poor water quality was the issue. Tasted poor. I tested it to ensure it was working in some Kirkland bottled water and the TDS was 20. What was worse is, I offered to show this significant issue to a lady at the gate house as well as a ranger service guy I saw working on a defective ele box at a neighboring camp site. He said he would let the manager know. Nobody came by to investigate. A TDS tester is about a $30 purchase and simple to use. Highly recommended if you care what about water.
TDS over 500 ppm is poor quality and could be a real safety issue. I suspect the park pipes are bad.

For Anastasia State Park: We loved this park. We stayed in our 25ft Rv and everything was easy. The ground was hard packed sand/dirt so not too messy and the park was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were super clean. It was a short walk to the beach and we saw plenty of squirrels and gopher turtles. It was a short drive to the lighthouse which was amazing to climb up and see the views and not too far from historic St Augustine. We would have liked to stay here for
Longer.

For Anastasia State Park: We loved our 8 night stay at Anastasia SP. It’s very quiet. Lots of room between sites. We are in #70, an can barely see one neighbor. Bathrooms are clean, with nice showers.
St Augustine is very nice with lots to do and see. Definitely go to the Saturday Farmers Market in the amphitheater. We had a blast. Had bikes and kayak with us. The park itself isn’t all that great for kayaking, but we are here in Feb, and it’s a little cool. Kayak rental place isn’t open.
I’d still come back here in a heartbeat. Really liked it.

For Anastasia State Park: We camped in our 25 ft MotorHome in site121. Well layer our campsites with plenary of privacy. Facilities were well maintained and staff and hosts were helpful and friendly. Very nice beach less than a quarter mile away. The campground is only about 15 minutes from historic St. AUGUSTINE hi how is a nice bonus. Dry interested In returning to Anastasia State Park on our next visit to the area. I was told that the campground is typically full so book 6 or more months in advance if you really want to stay here.
