For Raccoon River Camp Resort: If you have a family and pets do NOT stay here. First off the electrical had no junction box to turn power on or off you simply plug in and hope it works. They state on their page that if an electrician has to come out to fix you will be responsible for the service call. Also the septic dump stations at the sites are at an angle and it makes it difficult to get a good dump flow. The site was filled with trash. The park is only lit with lights in the front and there is NO CAMP HOST to help greet you and help you to your site. No paper work was left at the office with instructions for tv or internet passwords. Truly the worst experience I have had camping in 3 years of traveling.

For Raccoon River Camp Resort: This RV Park has LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION. If you want to be close to the beach and close to the Water Park it does not get any better than this. However, this is NOT a Resort, far from it. It is old, but the utilities work and it has LOCATION and the price is right considering the location. We have stayed there and will stay again especially when taking the grands to that Water Park. It is also one of the cheapest if not the cheapest RV Park on Panama City Beach. With that said, avoid it if you are looking for an RV Resort. There are plenty of those on Panama City Beach.
