For Terra Ceia RV Resort: An Encore park that has more park models and “permanent†RVs than short term sites. Our site was B3 - a long pull thru - that was sand and weeds. Electric was on the right side of the site, so we had to put the cord under a mat so we wouldn’t trip. Water and sewer was on the left(normal) side. Antenna reception was surprisingly poor. Cable was available for long term rentals. WiFi was pay-as-you go for $5.00/day ( we didn’t use). The pool was clean and nice but be aware that the deck boards will burn your feet! There is a screened porch with pool table, bath house was clean, but old and not air conditioned. Laundry was also clean ($1.75 per load). There were shuffleboard courts and an air conditioned clubhouse. This was NOT a park I would buy a membership for AT ALL! I think it’s a stretch to call it a “resortâ€. The worst thing was a train that was just on the other side of the park and came through at 6-7am blowing it’s horn. Woke us up even with the A/C going.

For Terra Ceia RV Resort: This Encore park is in good overall condition with adequate amenities. The pool is at the back of the property near an ornamental pond and fairly quiet. The clubhouse and laundry room are spotless and well maintained. Sites are very tight (somewhat typical for FL). A large portion of the sites are for long-term stays, with many full-time/year-to-year residents. There is a lot of noise from proximity to US 41 and a railroad track. Staff here are polite but more oriented to the long-term residents than "transients". We had an extended stay (90 days) here in order to complete several significant projects on the rig as well as having extended visits with family and friends in the area. Per night price of $18 reflects the 90-day rate. Traffic going south over the bridges in Bradenton can frequently get backed up. Good overall proximity for day trips all along the Sunshine and Cultural Coasts of Florida. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com
